Celebrating India’s Heritage

Today, 18th April 2025, on the occasion of World Heritage Day, our school — Shree Swaminarayan English Medium School (CBSE), Salvav — celebrated the day with exciting inter-house competitions that highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage.

Students from Classes III to V participated in a Historical Skit Competition on the theme ‘History Comes Alive.’ Through expressive performances, they brought key historical events to life while showcasing values like justice and equality.

Classes VI to VIII took part in the Collaborative Story Narration Competition, themed ‘Echoes of the Vedas.’ Students shared stories rooted in Vedic wisdom, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and a deep understanding of ancient teachings.

In the Bulletin Board Decoration Competition, Classes IX and XI creatively presented the spiritual significance of the Char Dham. Each team explained the rituals, architecture, and cultural importance of their chosen shrine.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of learning and expression, encouraging students to explore, appreciate, and take pride in India’s rich heritage.
